Thousands were reached with the Message of Christ over the last two weeks in Brazil as Pastor Ballard and his Missions team preached and prayed for many people in the state of Goias and Brazil's capital, Brasilia. We were blessed to meet many loving families, who supported our works inside their country, allowing us to establish a new base of operartions in Goias and expand upon our works in Taguatinga and Brasilia.

The Mission Brazil project is a series of humanitarian projects and spiritual crusades, which could effectively touch the lives of the people of Brazil on two levels.
OBJECTIVE #1: First in the natural, by providing basic necessities for life, we can encourage those who are in a bad situation. Unemployment is very high there and most people that work often take a second job to survive. People come from miles around and gravitate to larger cities to keep themselves and their families alive. Some children are often put on the streets by their parents to sell or beg for things to bring income and relieve their suffering. We were so impacted by what we saw that our church sponsored our first project called "Gifts for Brazil" during the Christmas season. We supported an orphanage in the city of Annapolis with gifts and candy for the children. When we go back, we need to do more, much more. The orphanage still has inadequate living and bathing facilities and it's not going to change unless we do something. This is why we hope with your help, we can make the expansion of the orphanage ran by Instituto Cristao Evangelico de Goias one of our main projects.
OBJECTIVE #2: The second objective of the Mission Brazil project is spiritual. Through a series of crusades in selected cities, we will be sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost and hurting people. The bible says in Isaiah 61, "proclaiming liberty to those who are captive". The captivity is sin, and we have the power through the word of God to set them free. I've seen with my own eyes that the people of Brazil is hungry for the truth and a better way life. Pagan strongholds seem to divide the country like politics do here in America. We believe if you teach people that hope is in the Bible, they will give up false doctrines and beliefs.
Please support our efforts in reaching Brazil. It's an opportunity of a lifetime to serve God and our South American neighbor.
